Ingredients

  • 1 750ml bottle silver tequila
  • 2 cups triple sec
  • 2 cups lime juice (fresh squeezed is best)
  • 1.5 cups pineapple juice
  • 2 jalapeños (sliced in rounds)
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 cup margarita salt
  • lime (sliced)

  • simple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine tequila, triple sec, lime juice, pineapple juice, jalapeño slices, and pineapple chunks in a large pitcher.

  2. Place in the refrigerator overnight, or at least 4 hours, to give the flavors time to meld.  Stir well before serving.

To Serve

  1. Combine the chili powder and margarita salt in a shallow dish.

  2. Wet the rim of a margarita glass with a slice of lime and dip it in the chili salt.

  3. Fill the glass and add additional jalapeño and pineapple slices as garnish, if desired.

  4. If the margarita isn't sweet enough, add a splash of simple syrup to sweeten.

  5. Enjoy!
